Mobile Advertising at Peterbilt

The research is in, and using vehicle wraps as a part of your advertising mix is one of the best investments you can make in promoting your company.

A Cox Communications/Eagle Research project shows 48% of people viewed vehicle wraps as the most unique advertising medium available and that vehicle wraps and television ads were viewed as the two most memorable mediums.

A company would need to spend $130,000 annually in advertising to produce the same effect as a box truck wrap priced less than $4,000, 3M research has shown. Given that a typical vehicle wrap lasts 3 to 5 years, the return on investment is high.

A wrapped vehicle can generate between 30,000 and 70,000 impressions daily, according to research from the Traffic Audit Bureau of Media Measurement. And the Outdoor Advertising Association of America found that 96% of respondents felt vehicle wrap advertising was more effective than traditional methods of advertising.

Peterbilt, a Riot Creative Imaging customer in Cleveland, Ohio realized the power of mobile advertising and wrapped their own delivery vehicles. During parts delivery in the Great Lakes region, Peterbilt’s message, logo and contact information gets viewed by thousands as they simply go about doing what they’ve always done.

Peterbilt clients then started asking them if their newly ordered fleet vehicles could be wrapped with unique, personalized messaging as part of their ordering process.
