Q: What is the new SKYSITE?

A: The new SKYSITE is a growing suite of cloud-based applications that make it easy for users to manage, update, and share construction, architecture, and facilities documents.

The new SKYSITE consists of two applications: SKYSITE ProjectLink and SKYSITE InfoLink.

Q: What happened to the original SKYSITE?

The construction drawing management app you’ve come to know and love (we hope!) has undergone some major improvements and is now called SKYSITE ProjectLink.

Q: What happened to PlanWell Collaborate?

A: PlanWell Collaborate has been overhauled and has evolved into SKYSITE InfoLink.

Q: Which application is right for me?

A: SKYSITE ProjectLink (formerly SKYSITE) is for drawing management and active construction projects.
SKYSITE InfoLink is designed for the document management needs of building owners and facilities managers.

Q: Do the InfoLink and ProjectLink applications have to be used together?

A: No. Users are free to use the application that best fits their needs. For example, if you are a building operator and you need access to up-to-date building records, you’ll use SKYSITE InfoLink. If needed, SKYSITE ProjectLink and SKYSITE InfoLink can be used together to manage documents and information during the entire lifecycle of a building.

Q: Can you purchase a single subscription to the SKYSITE cloud and get access to both apps?

A: No, SKYSITE InfoLink and ProjectLink are sold separately.

Q: Do SKYSITE ProjectLink and InfoLink require software?

A: Nope! SKYSITE ProjectLink and SKYSITE InfoLink work instantly from your tablet or desktop browser. No downloads or installations needed.

Q: If I already have existing accounts for InfoLink (FKA PlanWell Collaborate) and ProjectLink (FKA SKYSITE), will I be able to merge account profiles into a single sign on?

A: If you have the same login ID and password for both applications, yes—you can access both applications with a single sign on. If you have unique login IDs and passwords for both applications, no—you will continue to access each application the same way you do today. Users that only have one application today will be able to access the other application using their current login ID and password.

Q: As an existing SKYSITE user, do I need a new login or account for SKYSITE ProjectLink?

A: Nope! All of your account information will be automatically updated with the upgrade to SKYSITE ProjectLink. Just log in and start using the new and improved app.

Q: Will all existing Shared User accounts be converted to View-Only accounts?

A: Yes, and all previous folder shares have been converted into folder send links. Users can gain access to these folders using the original confirmation email. Previously, the share folder and share project workflows were different processes, but now they have been combined into one process.

Share project: Recipient will have access to the full project (all folders) based on permission given by the sender.
Share folder: Recipient will only have access to the shared project folders based on permission given by the sender.

Q: Will I be able to retroactively apply the new auto-hyperlinking feature to an existing project?

A: No, you will need to manually hyperlink existing projects, but all new uploads will utilize automatic hyperlinking.

Q: As an existing PlanWell Collaborate user, do I need a new login or account for SKYSITE InfoLink?

A: Nope! All of your account information will be automatically updated with the upgrade to SKYSITE InfoLink.

Q: As a past “free user” or current “lite user,” how do I access read-only projects?
A: Accessing your read-only projects now requires login authorization. Please setup your login credential to access the projects.
