Signing up is easy.  If your company already does business with eBlueprint, then complete our user registration form and you will be contacted with a login ID and password.

How can I make sure that the most up-to-date drawings are available?

As soon as the drawings are uploaded, they are the most up-to-date.

How does eBlueprint know what to archive, and how it should be labeled or named?

eBlueprint breaks it down by discipline and archives it by title block.

Can I track orders or bidders so that I know who has received the documents, and when they received them?

What type of security features do you have on, and how can I be assured that just anyone can view my project?

Each customer has its own private site with its own password and user name. Everything is traceable. Our Web site is super secure. eBlueprint?s on-site IT professionals work 24/7 to ensure total security and functionality for our customers.

What if you don’t have specific supplies that I’m looking for?

eBlueprint can order whatever supplies you need and deliver it to your door within hours.

How can I search for supplies online?

There are several ways. You may use the quick look-up tool and search by printer compatible items, media/paper or ink/toner. Or, you can simply enter a keyword, brief description or item number in the search field. It?s also easy to reorder supplies; eBlueprint?s supply department can be contacted to pre-load customer items previously purchased. When customers view their specific supply page, those items appear automatically.

What file types do you accept (for large-format color jobs)?

We can accept just about any type of file. We prefer TIF, JPG, and EPS files for the most accurate color. We can accept and print from PDF, PSD, AI, INDD, DOC, PUB, PLT, DXF, GIF, BMP and other file types.

What ink types do you use?

We have three printers that use dye ink for short-term indoor uses with the best color gamut; one printer with UV ink for long-term indoor and short-term outdoor uses with a smaller color gamut; and one eco-solvent printer made for long-term outdoor use printing on vinyls, backlit films, window graphics and banners with a good color gamut.

What media can you print on?

We currently print on 48lb. waterproof matte photo paper, glossy photo base, 24lb. bond paper, 15 and 19oz. scrim vinyl, adhesive backed vinyl, perforated vinyl for window graphics, white film, backlit film, clear film, canvas and cloth.

How do I submit large-format color files for printing?

If the file size is less than 10MB, you can e-mail the file(s) If the files are larger than 10MB, or if you have several files, call the Color Department directly at (216) 539-1485 and we will e-mail you a temporary upload key to our Web site. This procedure is similar to using an FTP Web site. You can supply us with a CD, DVD, ZIP disk or thumb drive. We ask that you either embed or include all linked files, convert all fonts to outlines and flatten all images. We can print from either the RGB or CMYK mode.

How long does it take to print large-format color graphics?

If the files are submitted correctly, our average turnaround time is either same day or up to 3 days, depending on job size and complexity.

What substrates can you mount to (up to 4′ x 8′)?

  • Foamboard – 3/16″ and 1/2″ black or white
  • Gatorboard – 3/16″ and 1/2″ black or white
  • Coroplast – 1/4″ white corrugated plastic
  • Sintra – 1/8″ and 1/4″ black or white solid PVC plastic
  • Bleachboard – 25pt or 50pt black or white cardboard
  • Alumilite – 1/4″ aluminum sheeting surrounding solid corrugated plastic
  • Plywood – Pre-primed 1/2″ or 3/4″ solid gray board
  • Masonite – 1/8″ and 1/4″ brown hardboard
  • Your supplied board – from 1/8″ up to 1″ thick

What kind of laminations do you offer?

Matte (5 or 10 mil), Glossy (5 or 10 mil) and Satin (5 mil) single sided for the first surface of boards or double sided (encapsulations)

What extras do you offer?

eBlueprint is pleased to offer plastic edge framing for mounted boards, grommets, hemming, ropes, Velcro strips, drilling, splicing, board hinging, computer/tech labor, custom trimming, and custom packaging.

Do you offer large-format color scanning?

We can scan an original up to 50″ wide and 1/2″ thick in color. We can save it as a TIF, JPG or PDF file. Usually, we scan at a resolution of 200 dpi (dots per inch), but we can scan at up to 600 dpi. We crop the scan and color-correct before burning it to a CD or DVD to send back to the client. Glossy originals do not scan well because of the reflection of the scanner light. eBlueprint uses sheet-fed scanners.

Can I view spec books online?

No, only plans can be viewed online. If the owner of the project allows it, you may download spec books to your computer using the digital download feature.

What are your hours for picking up and dropping off?

Our main office is open from 7:30 a.m. ? 5:30 p.m. Orders may be picked up during those hours.

Is there a charge for using the Web site?

No, using our Web site is free of charge for our customers.

How long does it take for a debit card authorization to be removed from my account?

It depends on the individual bank to drop an authorization ?hold?.

How much is the debit card authorization hold?

$1 is authorized to be certain that the account number is valid.

Can you send my package via US mail?

We do not ship via US mail due to tracking practices.
