Scouts BSA Troop 1841G (Girl’s Troop)

Purpose: The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes. This troop was started more than four years ago when BSA allowed girls to join.
Troop Activities:
- Community Food Drive
- Merit Badge Advancement
- 2 Week-long Summer Camps + camping 1x month all year round (in Michigan…where it snows!)
- Scouting for Food program in November to support Gleaner’s Food Bank in Detroit. 2022: 8,500 lbs of food!
- Produced four Eagle Scouts since starting the Troop
- Support St Francis Camp on the Lake, a camp that runs during the summer for disabled people, we clean trails and we put in their dock.
- Custom Car Show Fundraiser
