With over 530 worldwide locations and more than 100,000 employees; CBRE is undoubtedly a market leader in the delivery of multi scale real estate services, which is precisely why we were absolutely delighted to be approached, during the evolving Coronavirus Pandemic, to submit a proposal for the surveyance, production and installation of ‘Covid’ related office graphics.
The Scope of work involved a Multi-Faceted Print and Application Solution, involving an initial consultation, which was followed by a detailed office survey and assessment of the specifically, detailed requirements of the CBRE project team.
Upon formal commissioning of the works, the ARC team, which was, and is, expertly lead by Max Lawson – one of ARC’s most dynamic and knowledgeable Client Managers – began the implementation of a full-scale production and installation program of Covid-related graphics, within a selection of locations, throughout CBRE’s national office network.
Max expertly coordinated the diverse range of services required to deliver the project, to the most exacting of standards, and his relationship with the CBRE Team:
“Working with the CBRE project team has been an exceptional experience because their attention to detail, knowledge, and awareness of their visual safety requirements, enabled a very clear solution to be implemented, with full compliance and adaptable durability.
Understanding the project scope was made easy by their outstanding standard of professionalism and their friendly engagement, which made the entire process relatively straightforward after I had understood their overall requirements and expectations.
This was obviously an immense team effort, and I must also commend my colleagues for their incredible efforts, from inception to completion of the first phase of this project.
The ARC team implemented sophisticated digital technology to create a range of floor and space plans, which accurately reflected a comprehensive inventory of internal and external signage, which was wholly aligned to the exacting needs of the client.
This also enabled, and will continue to enable, an efficient mechanism of digital ‘cloud based’ Project Management to ensure a successful ‘multiple-location’ services rollout, during the lifespan of the project.
As the country begins to transition, from Covid restrictions, ARC will continue to work with the CBRE Project team to provide surveys, signage, and graphics for their entire UK network of 50 offices – ranging geographically from London to Aberdeen – utilizing our unique network of regional installation teams and specialist production hubs.
We have been commended for our non-invasive consultative approach and I strongly believe this, aligned to our exceptional team of product and services specialists, has enabled ARC to be in the fortunate position of developing a mutually beneficial business relationship with one of the world’s leading exponents of prestige Real Estate Management.
I am delighted to say that ARC has now been appointed to provide a continuance of our initial scope of works and has been asked to submit a proposal for the supply and application of surface and ‘touch point’ Covid repellent surface coatings – in addition to the descriptively excellent ‘distance-marked’ floor and wall stickers, acrylic sneeze screens and removable, informative posters, within kitchen, toilet, and stairwell spaces”.
CBRE’s UK Facilities Manager – Isabelle Ramillon – has kindly provided us with her synopsis of the project we have been working with her to deliver:
“As with everything, associated with CBRE, our primary considerations were focused on quality and the necessity to deliver this expansive project during UK-specific lockdowns… on time, safely and within budget.
This safety signage project is a vital element in providing an optimum level of informational messaging to help ensure the well-being of our valued staff, customers, and visitors. As a result, there was never any question of compromise on quality and Max was very clear that ARC’s product and service offering was of the highest possible standard and their compliance levels are aligned to strict UK Government guidelines*.
The scope of work and project scale required us to engage with a national service partner we could trust and develop a strong working relationship with.
Max was extremely professional and instilled us with confidence, from the outset, with his high level of knowledge and understanding of our exact requirements. More importantly, he has an assured composure and the necessary skillset to translate a complex brief and deliver exactly what was required for each CBRE location.
At no time, during the initial phase of the project, have we ever hit any stress points and the quality and delivery of the signage has made it an easy decision for us to appoint ARC as our preferred service partner for the national rollout phase of the project”.
